<p>606 hp from an eight-cylinder supercharged engine propel it to a top speed of 201.95 mph and its ultra-sporty racing suit with carbon-fiber components fits it like an aerodynamic second skin: The NOVITEC ROSSO RACE 606 based on the Ferrari California will celebrate its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2011.</p>
<p>At the heart of the supercar lies the supercharged 4.3-liter V8-engine, which the NOVITEC ROSSO specialists developed specifically for this front-engine sports car. This engine is available for the special model RACE 606 and for any standard California model.</p>
<p>The compressor system consists of a mechanical supercharger driven by the crankshaft via a cogged V-belt. It produces a maximum boost pressure of 0.4 bar. The conversion also includes a water-to-air intercooler, a newly designed intake manifold and larger injectors.</p>
<p>For better exhaust-gas flow the high-performance engine is fitted with a flap-controlled NOVITEC ROSSO high-performance exhaust system with sport catalysts. The stainless-steel exhaust system features four black-coated tailpipes and offers various sound settings that are controlled by the Manettino button on the steering wheel. The driver can choose between a more subdued and a markedly sporty exhaust note.</p>
<p>The high-tech components are coordinated by newly calibrated engine electronics that ensure extraordinary power yield, everyday suitability beyond reproach and compliance with strict Euro IV emission standards.</p>
<p>The NOVITEC ROSSO engine conversion bumps power output from standard 460 hp to 606 hp at 7,900 rpm. Simultaneously peak torque jumps from 358 lb/ft to 445 lb/ft at 5,500 rpm.</p>
<p>Powered by this engine the NOVITEC ROSSO RACE 606 delivers impressive performance: The sprint from 0 – 62 mph takes less than 3.8 seconds. Top speed increases to 201.95 mph.</p>
<p>At this level of performance favorable aerodynamic properties are essential. The NOVITEC ROSSO designers went into the wind tunnel to develop body components that further reduce lift on front and rear axle and thus contribute to further optimized directional stability at high speed.</p>
<p>All parts of the aerodynamic-enhancement package are made from matte clear-coated carbon-fiber, making them especially light and yet highly resistant. The front and rear spoilers together with the rear diffuser create an optimal aerodynamic balance and are essential for the racing look of the sports car. Rocker panel blades, side air outlets in the front fenders, mirror covers and the rear molding add further thrilling highlights.</p>
<p>Also made entirely from carbon fibers is the hood centerpiece, the radiator grille, the outer skin of the folding hardtop and the taillight surrounds.</p>
<p>The motorsports look is rounded out with a matte carbon-fiber coating of the three-piece NOVITEC ROSSO NF3 wheels. To further emphasize the wedge shape of the sports car the wheels were manufactured in a staggered combination of size 9Jx21 for the front and in size 11.5Jx22 for the rear axle. The matching PZero high-performance tires in sizes 255/30 ZR 21 and 315/25 ZR 22 are supplied by technology partner and Formula 1 supplier Pirelli.</p>
<p>Specifically calibrated to this tire/wheel combination are the NOVITEC ROSSO sport springs, which lower the ride height of the Ferrari by some 35 millimeters. They are combined with a feature designed to further improve any California’s suitability for everyday use. The hydraulic front lift system is activated at the push of a button in the cockpit. It raises the front of the car by 40 millimeters and facilitates navigating speed bumps and parking garage ramps. At a second push of the button or automatically upon reaching a speed of 80 km/h the front reverts to its original position.</p>
<p>The interior of the NOVITEC ROSSO RACE 606 can also be customized extensively. The options include scuff plates made from the same material as the aerodynamic-enhancement components and longer shift paddles on the steering wheel.</p>
<p>Upon customer request NOVITEC ROSSO creates especially exclusive or extremely lightweight interiors in any desired color. Request for more individualization can be fulfilled with carbon-fiber elements that match the exterior and a safe-grip steering wheel covered with suede or Alcantara.</p>

<p>Superior performance through NOVITEC TRIDENTE Compressor Technology: With a rated power output of 590 hp / 434 kW and a peak torque of 572 Nm NOVITEC TRIDENTE establishes the two Maserati models Quattroporte S and Sport GT S among the most powerful luxury sedans in the world. Additionally the tuner enhances the car&#8217;s appearance and driving dynamics with three-piece 21-inch wheels, a height-adjustable coil-over suspension and a carbon-fiber rear spoiler. Exclusive interior upgrades are yet another NOVITEC TRIDENTE specialty.</p>
<p>Superlative driving thanks to superior engine power combined with exceptional engine smoothness: That is the philosophy behind the new NOVITEC TRIDENTE SPORT compressor engine for the Maserati luxury sedans Quattroporte S and Quattroporte Sport GT S.</p>
<p>The specialists of the German company adapted a cogged-belt-driven mechanical charger to the 4.7-liter eight-cylinder four-valve engine. Maximum boost pressure is limited to 0.35 bar. A water-to-air intercooler with dedicated water circulation ensures healthy operating temperatures for the engine. The NOVITEC TRIDENTE SPORT compressor conversion is rounded out by a custom intake manifold and larger injectors. Newly calibrated engine electronics ensure optimal power yield, longevity and compliance with strict Euro IV emission limits.</p>
<p>After the engine conversion, which starts at 19,900 Euros, the Italian luxury sedan delivers high-end performance figures: Rated power output of the Quattroporte S jumps from standard 430 hp / 318 kW to 590 hp / 434 kW at 7,300 rpm. Simultaneously peak torque grows from 490 Nm to 572 Nm.</p>
<p>In combination with the six-speed automatic transmission the NOVITEC TRIDENTE luxury sedan delivers excellent driving performance as well: A sprint time of just 4.6 seconds from rest to 100 km/h and 14.9 seconds to 200 km/h are truly exceptional in this class. Just as impressive is the carï¿½s new top speed of 295 km/h.</p>
<p>To transfer this tremendous performance potential to the road as safely as possible NOVITEC TRIDENTE have developed a custom-tailored tire/wheel combination for the Quattroporte. The three-piece alloy wheels with five double spokes perfectly fill out the available space in the wheel wells. The size 9Jx21 wheels on the front axle are mounted with Pirelli P Zero high-performance tires in size 255/30 ZR 21. In the rear size 295/30 ZR 21 tires on size 11Jx21 wheels provide optimal traction.</p>
<p>The new wheels play a large part in the sporty yet elegant appearance of the upgraded luxury sedan. For added sporty emphasis NOVITEC TRIDENTE offers an understated rear spoiler made from clear-coated carbon fiber.</p>
<p>The NOVITEC TRIDENTE sport suspension is specifically calibrated to the 21-inch high-performance tires. It allows owners of the Quattroporte to dial-in a setup that suits their individual preferences. The suspension is continuously height-adjustable and features multiple settings for compression and rebound.</p>
<p>NOVITEC TRIDENTE also offers numerous options for a stylish customization of the interior of the luxury sedan. The options range from a custom-tailored interior crafted from the finest leather or Alcantara to a state-of-the-art multimedia equipment package with TV, Blu-Ray player and high-speed internet connection on wheels.</p>

<p>German tuner Novitec has released the latest custom Ferrari, the Scuderia Spider 16M.  Cosmetic changes over the standard Ferrari F430 are minor&#8211;a carbon composite theme inside the cabin, blacked-out tail lamps, and 20&#8243; wheels&#8230;  The real shocker comes from within the powertrain compartment.  Engineers have installed not one, but <em>two </em>superchargers.  Power peaks at 696 hp at 8,400 rpm; torque comes in at 503 ft.-lbs.  Those outstanding numbers come to a 44% rise in horsepower and a 47% hike in torque.</p>
<p>If only Novitec could to the same with Aprilia&#8217;s underpowered RS125 sport bike, I could live happily.</p>
