Video: Custom Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster in Matte Black
Here is a totally custom Murcielago. The owner bought it from Beverley Hills Lamborghini and wasn’t satisfied with the color. He also added some very nice rims and a killer sound system which gives it a very evil finish.

1500 horsepower Lamborghini Gallardo
This powerful creation from UndergroundRacing.com is the ultimate in Italian exotic custom builds. A giant twin turbo system forcing 1500 horsepower worth of boot down the throat of this bull is screaming fun! Built for top speed and ultimate launch, the 1500 horsepower Lamborghini Gallardo has a raspy growl to state it’s presence. Extensive modifications by tearing down and rebuilding the Gallardo is needed to support this type of power but totally worth every penny. A sleeper setup with a perfect shade of black is graciously whisking through traffic somewhere in USA. Where this Lambo lurks is always potential for a curb side show of power, luxury, and the world renown performance of Lamborghini.
In a brute reply to JDM performance monsters known to smear a stock Lamborghini such as Evo, Sti, GT-R, and Supra; the Lamborghini Gallardo featuring 1500 horsepower is a bold statement of authority. Regardless of it’s power, it still can’t beat the bang for buck value of the JDM rivalry. That’s the only race it will lose! Read more
Audi R8 V-10 Specs Released
Audi is making a wonderful thing even better with the addition of a 5.2 L V-10 to the R8 sports car. Making the company halo a blessing for the German marque (and a thorn for its Lamborghini property), the 5.2 is accompanied with all-wheel-drive and 525 peak horsepower. The R8 now has larger scoops, modified LED headlamps, and slightly lower sills. The R8’s 0-60 time is slashed to 3.9 sec. and its top speed is set at 196 mph. Pricing is set at $147,000 for the base manual and $156,000 for the R-Tronic.
Track Cred: Reiter’s LP560 GT3
Reiter Engineering of Germany has taken upon itself the role as Lamborghini’s preferred race-spec tuner. With no factory effort, Reiter has been modifying productions Lambos for decades–earning GT victories from France to Japan. The latest work is a GT3-class Gallardo LP560. The GT3 features a tuned 5.2 L V-10 with 570 hp at 8,000 rpm. Weight has been cut to just 2,620 lbs. thanks to an aluminum chassis and more carbon fiber paneling. A Halinger geabox is provided and gives racers even quicker shifts than the standard Audi unit. The final pricing for the LP560 GT3 is €265,000; a GT2 upgrade is available for €295,000.
Things We Would Spend Money on Rather Than an $11m Shelby Daytona: Lambo Miura
Let’s accept a hard fact: $11,000,000 is a lot of money for anything–especially an automobile that’s barely ever going to see the road. Just imagine the cost and what you could use that money for instead. Here’s one alternative that’s about a hundredth to a fiftieth of the cost, depending on what variant and the condition: Lamborghini’s revered Miura.
The Miura is the car that put Ferruccio Lamborghini’s name on the automotive map. The Miura was designed by a young stylist named Marcello Gandini in the middle of the 1960s, debuting in Turin in 1965. There was simply nothing like it–its curvaceous body, mid-mounted 3.9 L V-12, and, well, that curvaceous body were stunning. If there’s one car to knock off the Brits claim the E-type is the most beautiful car ever built, the Miura’s it.
There are a few downsides to the Miura. Early models, the P400 notably, were prone to engine fires. The cabin is terribly uncomfortable with an awkward seating position. Lastly, let’s not forget there’s lots of heat emanating from behind the passenger compartment.
But all of that is really unimportant. Think of the Miura as a gorgeous, buxom Italian brunette. She can be a bitch and likes high-living, but all that is little to pay when you slip inside and ride her all night–and she’s a screamer, to top it off.
With prices ranging from $90,000 to $200,000, the Miura is a godsend.
Pagani Brings Us…Another Zonda
Horacio Pagani’s namesake, though relatively unknown to the masses, has caught the imagination and desire of many an American auto enthusiast. The latest version of the Zonda, the Cinque, furthers the proven supercar formula with less weight and more propulsion.
To keep the millionaire clientele interested, Pagani’s put the Zonda Cinque in open-top form. Structural rigidity has been preserved with a strengthened titanium/carbon composite chassis. That added reinforcement is needed: the Mercedes 7.3 L V-12 delivers a whopping 678 hp. (Keep in mind those horses only have to push a car weighing under 2,700 lbs.)
Sixty’s hit in less than three and half seconds, and top speed is claimed at 217 mph. Like the Cinque coupe before it, the Roadster will be limited to five examples and retail at around €800,000.
A Closer Look at the Gallardo Spyder LP560-4
The Lamborghini Gallardo has become a very popular item among the wealthy exotic car crowd since its 2004 inception. Beyond the fact that it’s less expensive than its larger sibling, the Murcielago, the Gallardo’s smaller dimensions and lighter body have garnered it preference from the Sant’Agata collection. Even with that, Lamborghini has tried to keep the Gallardo fresh with improvements and specials.
Weekend Rant: Visual Appreciation
It’s not easy being beautiful. Take it from someone who knows. I frequently have to deal with women’s gasps and cries. In fact, I’ve even been handed restraining orders because my looks are a cause of too much temptation. (That’s not what the documents said, but that’s the truth behind ‘em.)
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder–except in my case, since my beauty is unquestionable. I am appreciative that in our present day, automotive design has come to a point of such creativity to appeal to anyone’s taste.
