eBay Motors is now offering free history reports for car buyers.  The reports are done through Experian Automotive and will cover vehicles from the 1981 model year and up.  The reports are automated; sellers will not be able to opt-out.  The move is intended to foster buyer confidence after reported instances of salvage and stolen vehicles coming up through transactions.
