<p>Deep, wide and loud are three characteristics that belong to the real roots of the tuning scene and that are indispensable as a foundation for all tuning work. It doesn’t matter what trend is hot at the moment: good tuning modifications have to be deep, wide and loud. That’s just the way it has to be!<br />
PP Exclusive presents you with the perfect example of deep and wide car tuning work. For width, the tuners have built in the Majestic wheel rim, which has just passed all the TÜV inspections with flying colours so making it available from early 2012 in sizes of 20 to 23 inches. On the SL the front wheels are size 11&#215;20 inch (with 3.5 inch outer rims) and the back wheels are a gigantic 13&#215;20 inch (5 inch outer rim). This combination is fitted with Dunlop tyres of sizes 255/30R20 and 305/25R20. Of course, with this wheel and tyre combination, the wheel arches also had to be extended – we’ve used sheet metal to widen them 25 mm up front and 55 mm at the back, on both sides.</p>
<p>Together with the capacity to lower the vehicle by up to 100 mm by means of an electronic module, the PP Exclusive SL takes on a truly brutal wedge-like form. To explain how this little gadget works on the side: The vehicle is lowered by controls on the steering wheel and the current height status can be seen at any time by accessing it on the instrument panel. To achieve a nice, rich, loud sound from the rear end of the SL, the tuners from Baden-Wuerttemberg built in an exhaust system made entirely of stainless steel starting right at the catalytic converter and having four oval-shaped exhaust pipes. On request, this sporting exhaust system is also available in a ‘civil’ version.</p>
<p>But it doesn’t stop there; a lot of work has been done in the interior too. The driver and passenger seats have been finished in white Napa leather with black stitching. The timber parts of the dashboard panel too now gleam in the colour of the vehicle, and in contrast, the sun visors and the roof interior have been finished in black Alcantara. The SL steering wheel has received a smaller rim, and is now formed straight instead of curved at the bottom. As well as being finished with Alcantara, the rest of the steering wheel has been lacquered in white, except for the star which has been retained in black.<br />
Back to the roots! At PP Exclusive we remember the classic values and qualities of tuning and the result is simply breathtakingly beautiful. In addition, the tuning-genes of engineer Gerd Mueller are experiencing an honourable renaissance here at PP Exclusive!</p>
<p>Also available from PP Exclusive is the classic and extremely popular Crownjewel light-alloy wheel that is immediately deliverable in 20 inch sizes and has Radinox outer rims of up to six inches in width.</p></blockquote>

<p>Special editions have been a tradition at Mercedes-Benz specialist KICHERER in Stockach, Germany for many years. Just in time for winter 2011-12, a new limited edition WHITE SERIES is available &#8211; limited to just ten vehicles and developed exclusively for the sporting driver, it places pure exhilaration and driving pleasure at the forefront of the driving experience, without foregoing the usual comforts.</p>
<p>Serving as the basis for the special edition is the C63 AMG, a real race machine that is a serious rival for the BMW M3 and others in class. When it comes to performance, KICHERER has treated this powerful saloon to a software optimisation, including the removal of the V-max limit, so that now around 520bhp and a maximum torque of around 457lb ft are tearing at the power train. To make sure all of this performance can be turned into propulsion without losing any of it, a high-performance limited slip differential with variable slip provides for optimal traction. Next to that there’s also high-performance coilovers which are individually adjustable for hardness and which push the limit up significantly. In the wheel-arches of the KICHERER C63 White Edition are a set of in-house 20-inch large RS 1 forged wheels, up front with 245 tyres and at back with 275 tyres. Behind the rims is hiding a high-performance braking system with steel braided hoses from Brembo.</p>
<p>In terms of aerodynamics, KICHERER has treated the front end of the C63 to a new apron with integrated flaps and LED daytime running lights as well as a carbon front grill with piano lacquer finish. A set of side skirts with built in supports in piano black gives the look of a lowering of the vehicle. The back offers, apart from a rear diffusor, also in piano lacquer finish, two giant exhaust tailpipes with a flap-controlled sports exhaust, made of stainless steel.</p>
<p>For the interior, the designers at KICHERER thought of something special for the WHITE EDITION. The seats in the front and in the back are fitted out with exclusive Napa leathers in black and white. In addition to that, the tuners covered the door panels and the upper and lower parts of the dash panel, the centre console and also the ergonomically-moulded sports steering wheel with leather. It’s worth taking a closer look at the perfect white stitching, which effuses elegance as it contrasts with the black leather.</p>
<p>With the WHITE EDITION KICHERER Fahrzeugtechnik has again created a limited special edition, which, even when it’s parked in the yard, simply bristles with exclusivity and race readiness.

<p>Latest conversion by luxurious german car tuning company Wheelsandmore</p>
<p>As serial 650hp aren´t enough for fastidious customers we proudly present our latest coup, a very rare 722 MC Laren Mercedes with fine and exclusive tuning upgrades.</p>
<p>Installing a handcrafted exhaustsystem with sports catalysts and remote-able flaps, adapted to remapped ecu software and a new pulley is resulting in totally 727 hp and 950 nm. These data won´t need any further description or?</p>
<p>Handling these brute power strictly required a suspension revision. So we decided to contact coilover specialists KW to develop a compression and rebound adjustable, full race approved system for this Mc Laren Mercedes SLR722.</p>
<p>Due to their weight-optimized properties the handcrafted, multi-piece forged wheels of the type 6Sporz² are significant and additionally effecting the improved acceleration.</p>

The letters &#8220;SL&#8221; have ever since been synonymous with a symbiosis of sportiness, style and comfort – and with groundbreaking innovations. The new SL has been produced for the first time almost entirely from aluminium and weighs up to 140 kilograms less than its predecessor. Its highly rigid all-aluminium bodyshell provides the basis for agile, sporty handling that has been taken to an entirely new level, coupled with exemplary roll characteristics and ride comfort. Even better driving dynamics come courtesy of the new BlueDIRECT engines; they are more powerful yet at the same time up to 29 percent more economical than the engines in the outgoing generation. Other new features include the unique Frontbass system, which turns the luxury sports car into a concert hall regardless of whether the top is open or closed, and the highly efficient adaptive windscreen wipe/wash system MAGIC VISION CONTROL; it supplies water from the wiper blade as required and depending on the direction of wipe.</p>
<p>Compared with its successful predecessor, the new Mercedes-Benz SL offers considerably more comfort and sportiness, setting new standards in the luxury roadster class. Added to which is uncompromising day-to-day suitability, which turns the SL into an incomparable all-rounder among sports cars. In short, anyone that talks about the new SL is bound to be talking about the ultimate in passionate, refined motoring.</p>
<p>Dr Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars: &#8220;There are around 900 million cars in the world and thousands of models. But there are only a handful of automotive icons. Our SL is one of them: it has class, it has style, it is the ultimate in comfort and luxury. But it combines all that with incredible sportiness and dynamism. You would struggle to find a car that embodies Gottlieb Daimler&#8217;s aspiration more perfectly than our new SL: the best or nothing.&#8221;</p>
<p>Lighter and more rigid: sophisticated all-aluminium bodyshell</p>
<p>The new-generation Mercedes-Benz SL takes the meaning of the famous letters &#8220;SL&#8221; – sporty, lightweight – literally. Consistent weight reduction is one of the most outstanding design characteristics in the new SL as was the case in its namesake, the original SL of 1952 with its lightweight tubular frame. For the first time Mercedes-Benz has implemented an all-aluminium bodyshell in a series-production model. Only very few components consist of other materials. The designers use the even lighter magnesium for the cover behind the tank. High-strength steel tubing is integrated in the A-pillars for safety reasons.</p>
<p>The new aluminium bodyshell weighs around 110 kilograms less than it would using the steel technology from the predecessor. &#8220;The effect is rather as if a heavyweight-class passenger had got out of the car&#8221; says Dr Thomas Rudlaff, responsible for the aluminium bodyshell at Mercedes-Benz. &#8220;The result is perceptible and measurable. Less weight means more dynamism and less consumption. In other words: the motoring enjoyment increases, the environmental burden sinks.&#8221;</p>
<p>The aluminium structure is not only lighter but also proves superior to the predecessor&#8217;s steel construction in terms of rigidity, safety and comfort. This is achieved thanks, among other things, to its intelligent lightweight construction with components optimised for their specific task. Thus, diverse processes are used to make different kinds of aluminium depending on the use the component is to be given: the parts are made by chill casting or vacuum die-casting, worked into extruded aluminium sections or into aluminium panels of different thicknesses. The result: high rigidity, high safety levels and better vibration characteristics.</p>
<p>Although the new SL is even more comfortable and has more assistance systems on-board than its predecessor and therefore does actually sacrifice some of the weight saved through the aluminium bodyshell, the scales show some astonishing figures: the new SL 500 (1.785 kg) weighs around 125 kilograms less than its predecessor. On balance, the SL 350 (1.685 kg) is even 140 kilograms lighter – all thanks to a host of other intelligent enhanced details to reduce weight, which Mercedes-Benz has also implemented in the new SL in addition to the aluminium bodyshell.</p>
<p>Driving pleasure: frugal, powerful engines and agile suspension</p>
<p>Powerful while accelerating, effortlessly superior across all speeds, nimble on winding roads – the new SL provides ample driving pleasure. Apart from the powerful engines, the sportily tuned yet comfortable suspension, which also boasts intelligent lightweight construction, proves outstanding. For instance, the steering knuckles and spring links on the front axle are also made out of aluminium to reduce the unsprung masses. The same also applies to virtually all the wheel location components on the rear axle.</p>
<p>The new SL is available with two different suspension systems: the SL features semi-active adjustable damping as standard. The optional active suspension system ABC (Active Body Control) is available as an alternative.</p>
<p>Both suspension variants are combined with a new electromechanical Direct-Steer system featuring speed-sensitive power steering and a ratio that can be varied across the steering wheel angle. This ensures excellent straight-line stability and, therefore, a high degree of assuredness when travelling at motorway speeds and makes the SL very agile. It also reduces the amount of steering required when parking and manoeuvring.</p>
<p>The new V8 in the SL 500 develops 320 kW (435 hp) from its displacement of 4663 cc and thus around 12 percent more than its predecessor despite some 0.8 litres less displacement. The fuel consumption has been reduced by up to 22 percent. At the same time, the torque has increased from 530 Nm to 700 Nm – a gain of 32 percent. Although the displacement remains the same at 3499 cc, the new V6 engine in the new SL 350 develops 225 kW (306 hp) and delivers 370 Nm of torque. It uses just 6.8 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres, making it almost 30 percent more economical than its predecessor. Both engine variants come with a standard-fit ECO start/stop function. The 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission, which has been optimised in relation to fuel consumption and comfort, also contributes to the exemplary, low fuel consumption. The fuel economy of the BlueDIRECT engines takes nothing away from the roadster&#8217;s raciness. Quite the contrary: the SL 350 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, making it three tenths of a second faster than its predecessor. The SL 500 takes just 4.6 seconds – eight tenths less than the previous SL 500.</p>
<p>Interior: aesthetic, stylish, sporty</p>
<p>The new SL combines its aesthetically honed profile, which follows the Mercedes-Benz tradition, with a luxurious feel. Fine materials, perfectly finished with great attention to detail, distinguish the style and character of the interior.</p>
<p>Compared with its predecessor, the new generation of the SL is much longer 4612 mm (+50 mm) and wider 1877 mm (+57 mm), providing more room for more comfort in the interior, too. Shoulder room (+37 mm) and elbow room (+28 mm) have been increased, exceeding the dimensions normally found in this vehicle class. Clear lines create a formally coherent internal space within this comfortable interior. Generously used wood trim extends from the centre console across the dashboard into the doors, creating a pleasant wrap-around effect. Three types of wood along with two different aluminium trim finishes are available. Perfectly in tune with the roadster&#8217;s character, it combines the unpretentious atmosphere of a high-performance sports car with a comfortable, stylish ambience one comes to expect in a luxurious touring car.</p>
<p>Design: classic SL proportions</p>
<p>The designers have brought the latest generation of the SL unmistakably to life on the basis of tradition but added new perspectives and visions. The result is a stylishly sporty and elegant luxury sports car with the classic hallmark SL balanced proportions: the long bonnet gives way to a compact passenger compartment that is set well back. A wide, powerful rear end giving the impression of raciness provides the finishing touch. A handful of elaborately styled lines define the powerfully sculpted and yet calm surfaces of the flanks. Finely worked details, a striking rear end as well as ventilation grilles with chromed fins from the dynamic traditional Mercedes-Benz design heritage visually emphasise the SL legend.</p>
<p>An upright classic sports car radiator grille clearly marks out the new SL visually as a prestigious member of the current Mercedes-Benz sports car family. The centrally positioned star is a contemporary reinterpretation of the famous trademark, which now extends into the centre section with its organically flowing contours.</p>
<p>Dynamically slanting headlamps set well to the outside flank the striking front end and give the new roadster its own unmistakable face. The headlamps come as standard with the Intelligent Light System (ILS). With five different lighting functions that are tailored to typical driving and weather conditions, and are activated depending on the driving situation, they offer the driver a much better illuminated field of vision. The striking sidelights and the horizontal strip of the daytime running lamps in the far ends of the bumper feature LED technology.</p>
<p>Vario-roof: MAGIC SKY CONTROL as an option</p>
<p>The sixth generation of the SL also offers a vario-roof that can be retracted into the boot using an electrohydraulic mechanism to save space, which converts the SL in a few seconds into a roadster or a coupé, depending on the driver&#8217;s wishes and the weather. Unlike its predecessor, three versions are available for the new SL: painted, with glass roof or with the unique panoramic vario-roof with MAGIC SKY CONTROL. The transparent roof switches to light or dark at the push of a button. When light it is virtually transparent, offering an open-air experience even in cold weather. In its dark state the roof provides welcome shade and prevents the interior from heating up in bright sunlight. The frame of the three roof versions is made of magnesium, making the roofs around six kilograms lighter than the roof on the predecessor, thus providing a lower centre of gravity for the vehicle and, in turn, better agility.<br />
The engineers have refined the operating mechanism for the roof and boot lid. It now takes less than 20 seconds to open or close the roof completely.</p>
<p>Aerodynamics: new standards</p>
<p>The design of the new SL not only meets high aesthetic demands but it also boasts exemplary aerodynamic qualities.<br />
As such, the roadster merits best marks in its segment in four important disciplines:</p>
<p>    • With the lowest drag coefficient (cd = 0.27 in the SL 350);<br />
    • With the lowest wind noise that is virtually on a par with a closed saloon;<br />
    • With the best comfort for open-top motoring so that you can still have the roof down even at high speed;<br />
    • With virtually no accumulation of dirt on the side windows.</p>
<p>Two world premieres: Frontbass and MAGIC VISION CONTROL</p>
<p>With two innovations, the new SL remains true to its tradition as technological trendsetter:</p>
<p>    MAGIC VISION CONTROL is a new, intelligent and highly efficient wipe/wash system. The innovative wiper blade concept always applies the washer fluid just in front of the wiper blade lip via the channels integrated into the blade – in both directions of wipe. As a result, no water is splashed onto the windscreen during spraying to disrupt the driver&#8217;s visibility, while at the same time cleaning the windscreen perfectly. The water also remains on the windscreen, thus ensuring it is cleaned without troubling the occupants, even with the roof down. For the first time a fully heated wiper blade is available as an option that prevents snow or ice from forming on the blade in winter. This heating function also allows warm water to be applied directly onto the windscreen for the first time, even in cold temperatures.</p>
<p>    The likewise unique Frontbass system intelligently uses the free spaces in the aluminium structures in front of the footwell as resonance spaces for the bass loudspeakers. As a result the new SL features clear, crisp bass sounds that make possible a concert hall ambience even with the top down, and frees up space in the doors.</p>
<p>Both innovations are part of the extensive standard equipment of the new SL.</p>
<p>HANDS-FREE ACCESS: &#8216;kick&#8217; to open</p>
<p>The HANDS-FREE ACCESS system is another Mercedes-Benz innovation which provides hands-free, contactless operation of the boot lid. The driver simply moves their foot in the vicinity of the rear bumper. Mercedes-Benz is the only car maker to offer a system which not only automatically opens the boot lid but closes it as well.</p>
<p>The safest roadster</p>
<p>Thanks to the crash-optimised aluminium structure, standard-fit PRE-SAFE® and assistance systems on the same high level as the S-Class, the SL is the world&#8217;s safest roadster. The rigid aluminium bodyshell forms a sturdy passenger compartment along with precisely defined deformation zones in the front and rear ends. In the event of the vehicle overturning, A-pillars made out of a mix of steel and aluminium and two roll-over bars protect the passenger compartment. The restraint systems including the two-stage driver and front passenger airbags have been further developed. A headbag integrally covers the side head-impact area. An additional thorax airbag in the seat backrest can protect the upper body in the event of a side impact. Another new feature is the crash-responsive NECK-PRO head restraints developed by Mercedes-Benz which are fitted as standard in the SL.</p>
<p>An active bonnet and a front end with a large, yielding impact area help ensure pedestrian protection.<br />
A safety highlight is the unrivalled anticipatory occupant protection system PRE-SAFE® developed by Mercedes-Benz which is fitted as standard. If the system detects a serious risk of an accident, it reflexively activates precautionary protective measures for the vehicle occupants, so that the seat belts and airbags are able to fulfil their protective function to the full during an impact.</p>
<p>Additional post-crash measures supplement the integral safety concept and facilitate rapid assistance: regardless of the severity of the impact, the doors can be automatically unlocked after an accident, the interior lighting activated and the side windows lowered by 50 millimetres to ventilate the interior more effectively. The steering wheel can also be moved upwards.</p>
<p>Standard: ATTENTION ASSIST AND ADAPTIVE BRAKE</p>
<p>In the new SL too, a unique combination of driver assistance systems helps prevent accidents. These include the standard-fit drowsiness detection system ATTENTION ASSIST and the ADAPTIVE BRAKE. The latter features ABS, acceleration skid control (ASR) and active yaw control, and offers comfort and convenience functions in addition to safety functions.</p>
<p>The ADAPTIVE BRAKE works in conjunction with the equally adaptive brake lights. In emergency braking situations, it warns vehicles behind with flashing brake lights.</p>
<p>PRE-SAFE® Brake: autonomous partial and emergency braking in response to a serious risk of a rear-end collision</p>
<p>As an option DISTRONIC PLUS proximity control and PRE-SAFE® Brake, which is already well proven in other Mercedes-Benz models, are available. Both work on the basis of the same radar sensors. Once a serious risk of a rear-end collision is detected, the PRE-SAFE® Brake warns the driver initially and can initiate autonomous braking if the driver fails to react, and so either prevent the accident or at least mitigate its severity. PRE-SAFE® can also activate occupant protection measures.</p>
<p>Active Parking Assist: automatically manoeuvred into a parking space</p>
<p>The Active Parking Assist is new in the SL. Using ultrasound sensors it can identify parking spaces and automatically steer the vehicle into the space while parking.</p>
<p>Infotainment: COMAND with internet access</p>
<p>Even in the entry-level variant, the new Mercedes-Benz SL comes with the &#8220;Cockpit Management and Data System&#8221; COMAND. Functionality includes Bluetooth telephony along with simpler operation of the car phone. COMAND Online with internet access and DVD changer is also available as an option. It provides unlimited web browsing while the vehicle is stationary along with high-speed access to a Mercedes-Benz online service – for instance requesting a weather report or a special destination search. There is also the option of sending individual destinations and routes via Google Maps to the vehicle. For the first time, Mercedes-Benz is also offering new apps for the new SL: in addition to a free news app and a Facebook app, there are optional Mercedes-Benz apps for share prices and a car park finder. A Yelp app to look for restaurants is available for the US market.</p>
<p>Both COMAND versions feature a high-resolution TFT colour display with 17.8 cm diagonal (800 x 480 pixels) at the side next to the instrument cluster. This screen arrangement prevents the driver from being distracted as far as possible.</p>
<p>The new SL can be ordered from 15 December 2011. The prices including 19% VAT are as follows:</p>
<p>    SL 350 BlueEFFICIENCY: 93,534.00 euros<br />
    SL 500 BlueEFFICIENCY: 117,096.00 euros</p>
<p>To coincide with the launch of the new SL, Mercedes-Benz will also be offering a special-edition model, the &#8220;Edition 1&#8243;, for a limited period. The &#8220;Edition 1&#8243; is superbly equipped and comes as standard with a panoramic vario-roof, AMG bodystyling, sports suspension, AMG 19-inch light-alloy wheels, designo nappa leather with contrasting topstitching, AIRSCARF, heated seats, electric draught-stop, ambient lighting and Harman/Kardon® Logic7® surround sound system and much more. The designo crystal silver magno special paintwork is available exclusively for the &#8220;Edition 1&#8243;, along with trim in wave or deep white aluminium. Depending on the basic model, the extra charge is between 19,028.10 euros and 22,598.10 euros. </p></blockquote>

<p>BRABUS 800 Coupe with 800 hp, 1,420 Nm and 350-km/h Top Speed</p>
<p>800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW, 1,420 Nm (1,047 ft-lb) and a 350-km/h (217-mph) top speed: in the new BRABUS 800 Coupe based on the latest Mercedes CL 600 BRABUS (Brabus-Allee, D-46240 Bottrop, phone + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777-0, fax + 49 / (0) 2041 / 777 111, Internet www.brabus.com) celebrates the world debut of the world’s fastest and most powerful luxury coupe at the 2011 DUBAI INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW. In addition to its unique performance the two-door car’s most impressive features are its exclusive sporty-elegant design and its high-class interior.</p>
<p>The 12-cylinder engine of the CL 600 is reengineered thoroughly in the BRABUS engine-building shop that is equipped with state-of-the-art machine tools. Displacement is increased from 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 384 cu. in.) with the help of a special BRABUS crankshaft with longer stroke, larger cylinder bore and correspondingly larger forged pistons. Further performance-enhancing modifications to the engine itself are the fine-machining of the two cylinder heads for optimized mixture flow and the installation of four special camshafts.</p>
<p>The engine peripherals are modified extensively as well: the standard twin-turbo system is replaced with a high-end turbocharging system designed by the BRABUS engine specialists. The new system features two custom exhaust manifolds with integrated turbine housings and high-performance turbochargers as well as four water-to-air intercoolers. The combustion air is supplied by a carbon-fiber ram-air intake integrated into the hood. In addition there is a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with free-flow metal catalysts.</p>
<p>Precision-programmed mapping for injection and ignition coordinate the optimal interaction of the high-performance components in order to achieve not only maximum power yield but also to meet strict current EURO V emission limits. The high-tech lubricants for the entire powertrain are supplied by technology partner ARAL.</p>
<p>As a result of the extensive modifications the BRABUS 800 V12 Biturbo engine delivers unparalleled performance figures: the engine produces its maximum rated power output of 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW at a low 5,500 rpm. Even more colossal is the peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 ft-lb) available from 2,100 rpm. In the car peak torque is limited electronically to 1,100 Nm (811 ft-lb).</p>
<p>Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission that has been reinforced to handle the enormous power, and the BRABUS high-performance limited-slip differential with a locking rate of 40 percent. Naturally the BRABUS 800 Coupe retains all modern vehicle stability systems that can be deactivated at the push of a button.</p>
<p>This engine under the hood makes the BRABUS 800 Coupe the world’s most powerful and fastest four-seat luxury coupe. From rest the exclusive two-door car sprints to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds and reaches 200 km/h (124 mph) after a mere 10.3 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 350 km/h (217 mph).</p>
<p>These extremely fast speeds place especially high demands on the aerodynamic-enhancement components that were developed in the wind tunnel. The sophisticated shape of the BRABUS front spoiler that attaches to the production fascia reduces lift on the front axle for further improved directional stability at high speed.</p>
<p>To achieve a precise aerodynamic balance BRABUS equips the CL with an understated rear spoiler on the trunk lid and a rear fascia insert. The insert replaces its production counterpart in the bumper and features a central reflector as well as one custom-tailored cutout on either side to provide the perfect backdrop for the four tailpipes of the BRABUS sport exhaust system.</p>
<p>Exciting design, top-notch quality and further improved driving dynamics are the outstanding characteristics of the BRABUS Monoblock wheels, which are available for the Mercedes CL-Class with diameters ranging from 18 to 22 inches. To make safe use of the car’s impressive performance requires BRABUS Monoblock 21-inch wheels, available as Monoblock VI, E or F designs. BRABUS technology partners Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA supply tried and tested high-performance tires in size 265/30 ZR 21 in front and size 295/25 ZR 21 on the rear axle.</p>
<p>The BRABUS ride-height lowering module for the standard ABC suspension is specifically calibrated to these ultra-low-profile tires, and lowers the body of the two-door car by some 25 millimeters (1 inch).</p>
<p>To keep the stunning performance safely in check at all times the BRABUS 800 Coupe comes equipped with version IV of the BRABUS high-performance brake system. The front axle is fitted with six-piston aluminum fixed calipers and vented and cross-drilled discs measuring 405 x 34 millimeters (16 x 1.3 in.). Together with discs measuring 380 x 34 millimeters (15.0 x 1.34 in.) and 4-piston fixed aluminum calipers on the rear axle the system delivers outstanding stopping power and endurance.</p>
<p>The interior received a high-class upgrade to match the car’s diamond-white metallic paint finish. The BRABUS upholsterers masterfully crafted an interior from a combination of white leather and black Alcantara, each with contrasting seams and diamond-pattern topstitching. Carbon-fiber elements in the cockpit add a markedly sporty touch. Their matte surfaces in “checkered flag” design make them textbook eye-catchers.</p>
<p>An ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel is also part of the extraordinary BRABUS interior refinement as are scuff plates with backlit BRABUS logo, and aluminum pedals, foot rest and shifter.</p>
<p>The BRABUS 800 Coupe is available as a complete vehicle or can be built based on any current Mercedes CL 600 model.</p>

<p>Affalterbach – The new Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG stands for efficiency and performance, exclusivity and a superlative driving experience. Running on 11.8 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres (NEDC combined, 276 g CO2/km), the high-performance SUV undercuts its predecessor by 4.7 litres, or 28 percent. The basis for low fuel consumption and top-class performance is provided by the AMG 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine with a maximum power output of 386 kW (525 hp) and maximum torque of 700 Newton metres, representing an increase of 11 kW (15 hp) and 70 Newton metres. The optionally available AMG Performance package boosts the V8 engine&#8217;s power output to 410 kW (557 hp) and its maximum torque to 760 Newton metres. The newly developed ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM for active roll stabilisation, the AMG-specific design and the broad scope of standard equipment and appointments provide for a highly attractive overall package.</p>
<p>Ola Källenius, Chairman of Mercedes-AMG GmbH, notes: &#8220;Like its predecessors, the new ML 63 AMG sets new standards in terms of performance, exclusivity and a superlative driving experience – plus the efficiency factor, which is acquiring ever greater emphasis at Mercedes-AMG. As the inventor of the high-performance SUV, we remain true to the philosophy which we introduced in 1999 with the ML 55 AMG and continued in 2005 with the ML 63 AMG.&#8221;</p>
<p>The new ML 63 AMG comes with a fascinating technology package: the AMG 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine features spray-guided direct petrol injection with piezo injectors, ECO start/stop system, an all-aluminium crankcase, four valves per cylinder with camshaft adjustment, air-water charge air cooling and generator management, for example. With a displacement of 5461 cc, the eight-cylinder engine generates a maximum power output of 386 kW (525 hp) and 700 Newton metres of torque. In conjunction with the AMG Performance package these values rise to 410 kW (557 hp) and 760 Newton metres. This difference in power and torque results from an increase in the maximum charge pressure from 1.0 to 1.3 bar. Both variants of the ML 63 AMG enable sports-car performance: acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes 4.8 seconds and 4.7 seconds respectively, while the top speed stands at 250 km/h (electronically limited). With or without AMG Performance package, the NEDC fuel consumption level of 11.8 litres per 100 kilometres (276 g CO2/km) remains the same. The AMG Performance package further includes an engine cover in high-quality real carbon, callipers in red painted finish and the AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather/DINAMICA.</p>
<p>Efficient and variable: AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC</p>
<p>Power transmission to all four permanently driven wheels is performed by the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC system. Featuring three driving programmes and an automatic double-declutching function for downshifting, this seven-speed automatic transmission offers a fascinatingly broad scope of variability. In &#8220;Controlled Efficiency&#8221; mode (C) the ECO start/stop function is active, shutting down the eight-cylinder engine when the vehicle is stationary. &#8220;C&#8221; also stands for a gentle accelerator and transmission characteristic with comfortable and early gear changes; start-up generally takes place in second gear here. A green &#8220;ECO&#8221; symbol in the AMG instrument cluster indicates to the driver that the ECO start/stop function is active.</p>
<p>In the Sport (S) and Manual (M) driving programmes the ECO start/stop function is inactive and the engine-transmission combination displays far greater agility. A brief and exactly defined retardation of ignition and injection during upshifting at full load additionally provides for shorter shift times here.</p>
<p>Enhanced efficiency and driving dynamics</p>
<p>As efficiency-enhancing measures, the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission incorporates a new fuel economy converter with centrifugal pendulum, bearings designed for reduced friction loss and a transmission-oil thermal management system. Friction loss-minimised axle gears, electronic steering, an optimised belt drive, demand-responsive control of all ancillary units and pumps and an intelligent lightweight design all help to further reduce fuel consumption. The new ML 63 AMG is 40 kilograms lighter than its predecessor – despite the increase in power and the more comprehensive range of standard equipment.</p>
<p>As on the previous model, Mercedes-AMG deploys a specially designed transfer case for the 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive which distributes the engine power at a ratio of 40 : 60 to the front and rear axle in the interests of high driving dynamics. Furthermore, the AMG sports suspension with AIRMATIC package, air suspension, independent damper struts, automatic level control and Adaptive Damping System (ADS) features for the first time in combination with the ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM for active roll stabilisation. This system, which comes as standard, employs active anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles to compensate the body&#8217;s roll angles during cornering. In addition to enhanced agility and driving enjoyment, the system also improves driving stability for added safety at higher speeds in particular.</p>
<p>Roll stabilisation, damping and suspension adapt instantaneously to the prevailing driving situation, offering both optimum ride comfort and maximum stability. The driver is able to choose at the push of a button between the three driving modes &#8220;Comfort&#8221;, &#8220;Sport&#8221; and &#8220;Manual&#8221;. The fully load-bearing air suspension system is speed-sensitive, lowering the body when higher speeds apply in order to minimise drag while increasing driving stability.</p>
<p>The AMG-specific elastokinematics at the front axle and the more robustly designed rear axle stabiliser bar are responsible for improved steering precision. The enhanced drive train stands for optimum power transmission and hallmark Mercedes reliability. The 4ETS electronic traction control system which features as standard provides for optimised grip when low friction coefficients apply.<br />
AMG speed-sensitive sports steering, AMG high-performance braking system</p>
<p>Electromechanical AMG speed-sensitive sports steering features vehicle speed-dependent power assistance and helps to save fuel, as the steering assist function only requires energy when the driver actually moves the steering wheel. The ML 63 AMG comes as standard with 5-spoke light-alloy wheels in format 9 x 20, painted titanium grey and with a high-sheen finish, fitted with tyres in size 265/45 R 20. Tyres in size 295/35 R 21 on AMG light-alloy wheels in size 10 x 21 are optionally available. The AMG high-performance braking system provides for the shortest possible braking distances and high fade resistance, featuring ventilated and perforated brake discs all-round in size 390 x 36 (front) and 345 x 26 millimetres (rear).</p>
<p>Specific AMG styling with trim in matt silver chrome</p>
<p>The design of the new MG 63 AMG exudes self-confidence, athleticism and power. The AMG styling dominates the front view: under the radiator grille with louvres in high-gloss paint finish and the large Mercedes star is a large cooling air intake on which the number plate is positioned. Together with the two outer air intakes, the central radiator grille provides for an effective flow of air to the water, engine oil, charge air and transmission oil coolers. Fitted at the bottom of the AMG front apron is a trim strip in matt silver chrome, which lends the front a wider appearance while harmonising with the surrounds of the daytime driving lights in the side cooling air intakes. The headlamps cut a particularly high-quality and exclusive figure in combination with the optional Intelligent Light System (ILS). The AMG front apron is integrated with the distinctive front fenders, which are 10 millimetres wider on either side in order to accommodate the large AMG light-alloy wheels in elegant fashion. &#8220;V8 BITURBO&#8221; logos identify the vehicle as the top AMG model in the M-Class. Dynamically profiled AMG side sill panels establish a visual link between the front and rear of the vehicle.</p>
<p>Another eye-catching feature is the AMG rear apron highlighting the black air outlet openings. The outlet openings emphasise the vehicle&#8217;s width similarly to the trim strip in matt silver chrome, which cites the design of the front apron and frames the AMG sports exhaust system. In contrast to the other M-Class variants, the ML 63 AMG features two sets of chrome twin tailpipes. Typical of an AMG is the distinctive full eight-cylinder sound.</p>
<p>High-quality, sporty interior</p>
<p>A sporty character and premium quality define the interior of the high-performance SUV from AMG. This is embodied in the electrically adjustable AMG sports seats offering pronounced lateral support as well as the four-spoke AMG Performance steering wheel, which ensures optimum control of the vehicle with perforated leather in the grip area, aluminium shift paddles and a flattened bottom rim. Aluminium trim elements and the piano-lacquer retractable cover in the centre console highlight the interior&#8217;s special dynamic and exclusive flair. The standard leather upholstery includes contrasting double topstitching and AMG badges in the backrests of the front seats and the outer rear seats. Dashboard, armrests and door panelling in AMG-specific design are finished in ARTICO man-made leather with double topstitching.</p>
<p>The distinctively designed instrument cluster with colour TFT monitor, AMG welcome logo and AMG main menu is exclusive to the ML 63 AMG.</p>

<p>Safety of the very highest calibre</p>
<p>In line with the Mercedes-Benz brand philosophy, the new ML 63 AMG represents the embodiment of the Mercedes-Benz holistic safety concept of Real Life Safety, which is derived primarily from what happens in a real accident situation. The extremely robust occupant compartment, together with the front and rear deformation zones, forms an effective basis for the occupant protection system. Up to nine airbags, activated on demand in accordance with the accident type and accident severity, can reduce the loads exerted on the occupants. In addition to active safety systems such as the standard-fit Brake Assist (BAS) or the optional BAS PLUS, which can help to prevent an accident or reduce the severity of an accident, the new M-Class features further enhanced passive-safety measures to help protect pedestrians.</p>
<p>Both active safety and driver-fitness safety are improved by assistance systems that will already be familiar, primarily from the S- and E-Class. The standard equipment package includes the drowsiness detection system ATTENTION ASSIST, the anticipatory safety system PRE-SAFE® and a tyre pressure loss warning system, as well as adaptive brake lights and the ESP® electronic stability programme. Active assistance systems such as Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist are available as additional equipment options.</p>
<p>Visionary: AMG as the inventor of the high-performance SUV</p>
<p>The new ML 63 AMG from Mercedes-AMG represents the third generation of the high-performance sport utility vehicle. The company from Affalterbach was the first to identify the potential of powerful and exclusive off-road vehicles and is recognised as the founder of the high-performance SUV segment. It all began in 1999 with the ML 55 AMG: with a power output of 255 kW (347 hp), the top-of-the-range M-Class model powered by an AMG 5.5-litre V8 engine achieved a level of performance previously undreamt-of in this class, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 235 km/h. The unusual combination of high-calibre drive, excellent off-road capabilities, outstanding ride comfort, unparalleled safety and a spacious interior delighted AMG customers throughout the world. Over 11,000 ML 55 AMGs were sold between 1999 and 2003.</p>
<p>The follow-up ML 63 AMG which was presented at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in September 2005 continued the success story that had begun with the ML 55 AMG. With its AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine generating an output of 375 kW (510 PS) and 630 Newton metres of torque, it again set the benchmark in its segment. The performance of the ML 63 AMG was in the sports-car league: the top-of-the-range AMG model accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.0 seconds and had a top speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited).</p>
<p>Over 13,000 were sold in total between 2006 and 2011.</p>
<p>In all, AMG&#8217;s sales figures for its high-performance SUVs total over 24,000 to date.</p>
<p>The new Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG will be launched in April 2012.</p>

<p>Automobile manufacturer Carlsson introduces two new vehicle models based on the Mercedes-Benz CLS (type C 218) and the Mercedes Benz SLK (R172). They have been built as right-hand drive models upon the request of an English aristocratic family at Carlsson&#8217;s manor house &#8220;Gut Wiesenhof&#8221; in Merzig, Germany.</p>
<p>The coupe-like silhouette of the CLS was received by the automobile manufacturer and refined with a comprehensive aerodynamic package. The new front spoiler and front spoiler lip RS made of real carbon ensure an agile appearance of the luxury sedan, and this look is supported by the black steel grille inserts. The rear spoiler and the rear apron insert with its integrated Carlsson RS rear diffuser made ​​of real carbon fibre add extra downforce and thus provide more stable road holding even at high speeds. The vehicle&#8217;s performance is also impressive: Under the stretched bonnet of the top version CK63 RS, which is based on the CLS 63 AMG with performance package, Carlsson optimised the engine to 649 hp (477 kW) instead of its standard 557 hp (410 kW). The maximum torque has been increased from 800 to 900 Nm at 2000 &#8211; 4500 rpm. Thus, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h was reduced from 4.3 sec to 4.1 sec.</p>
<p>And with that, the complete Carlsson sports exhaust system with four oval tailpipes made ​​of stainless steel produces a roaring sound. For the smaller petrol and diesel engines of the C 218, Carlsson offers advanced technology and performance improvements that come with the standard Carlsson factory warranty of three years. For example, the Carlsson CK50 based on the CLS 500 has now 475 hp (349 kW) and 687 Nm of torque instead of the standard 408 hp (300 kW) and 600 Nm. With its alloy wheels, Carlsson Design 1/10 to 20 inches, the automobile manufacturer from &#8220;Gut Wiesenhof&#8221; is testing new grounds in the wheel design. Due to the complex manufacturing process, the forged wheel 1/10 Ultra Light has a weight advantage of 40 percent compared to conventional wheels with a higher standard strength and significantly improved concentricity. Alternatively, the wheel design 1/10 is also available as cast wheel in the variants Brilliant Edition, Graphite Edition and Titanium Edition.</p>
<p>The interior refinement of both models is the absolute climax: The automobile manufacturer Carlsson maintains its traditional craftsmanship using the finest materials such as leather, the finest Alcantara, carbon fiber, fine natural woods and various other exclusive natural materials. The choice of materials and superior execution attest to the uncompromising quality of the company-own upholstery department. The front seats, including the seats&#8217; back panels are reupholstered using Carlsson NAPPA EXCLUSIVE. In the CLS the back bench, as well as all two/four door panels received the same treatment. This vat-pigmented leather offers the feel of a fine leather glove and with a thickness of 1 to 1.4 mm is particularly resilient. Thanks to the sophisticated tanning process, the pores of the hide remain intact and thus prevent the effect known as heat accumulation. Even in the winter time, this natural material adapts immediately to the individual&#8217;s body temperature.</p>
<p>Other high-quality components, such as velour floor mats with the Carlsson logo, scuff plates with blue illuminated Carlsson logo and polished aluminium door locking pins finish off the vehicle&#8217;s interior.<br />
In general, the sky is the limit when it comes to the wealth of variety available for the interior: The fine leather work ranges from various forms and types of perforation to the individual colouring of the hides to combinations of different materials like leather and Alcantara with matching stitching and decorative piping. All Carlsson NAPPA products are exclusively made from Central European raw materials and come from German production lines. Carlsson also takes environmental responsibility seriously; because the water needed for the production leaves the tannery in drinking water quality.</p>
<p>With the comprehensive customization program, the automobile manufacturer once again demonstrates its keen sense of the stylistic features of Mercedes-Benz. Thanks to the refinement by Carlsson, the standard-production, yet elegant CLS and the sporty SLK become truly unique individual vehicles.</p>
<p>Of the course, for all components of this finishing process, the three-year Carlsson factory warranty applies up to 100,000 km; and a TÜV certificate is always included, so the components can be easily entered into the registration papers. &#8220;Each year, approximately 150 vehicles make it through our workshop, costing between 5,000 to 85,000 €. Each vehicle finished upon our clients special request&#8221;, says Markus Schuster, CEO of the Automobile Manufacture Carlsson Autotechnik.</p></blockquote>

<p>Automobile manufacturer Carlsson introduces two new vehicle models based on the Mercedes-Benz CLS (type C 218) and the Mercedes Benz SLK (R172). They have been built as right-hand drive models upon the request of an English aristocratic family at Carlsson&#8217;s manor house &#8220;Gut Wiesenhof&#8221; in Merzig, Germany.</p>
<p>The aerodynamics package for the SLK, consisting of front spoiler and rear apron insert (for vehicles with AMG sports package, Code 950) emphasises the sporty lines and ensures additional downforce on the rear axle (front spoiler and rear insert are both available for 737 € including VAT).). The new front spoiler lip RS (available for € 653, also available in real carbon fibre) brings the front look to a full circle. The electro-polished stainless steel grille inserts (534 €) replace the standard plastic honeycomb in the front spoiler. The rear view is dominated by stainless-steel sports rear silencer with two tailpipes on the left and right and in the typical oval-shaped Carlsson design (1.545 €). By optimising the flow, Carlsson sound engineers have developed a sporty, powerful engine sound that effectively emphasizes the character of the SLK. The optional diffuser inserts and the stylish rear spoiler, the contact pressure onto the rear axle is increased even further.</p>
<p>Moreover, Carlsson draws on his many years of experience in the performance enhancement of engines and presents for the first time, the Carlsson C-Tronic for the current four-cylinder CGI engine generation. Additional control equipment ensures that the engine&#8217;s performance is increased by 27 &#8211; 40 hp. The new C-Tronic mobilizes existing reserves of the unit and by connecting it to the vehicle electronics, guarantees that safety limits are always respected and the engine is exposed to excessive wear. This new generation of additional control equipment was developed during elaborate endurance tests. The automobile manufacturer protects this durability with its three-year factory warranty from the date of installation.</p>
<p>Thanks to the C-Tronic CB20, the SLK 200 CGI which uses a base power of 184 hp (135 kW), now achieves 211 hp (155 kW) or even 224 hp (165 kW) with the C-Tronic CB20S. The C-Tronic CB25 increases the standard 204 hp (150 kW) of the SLK 250 CGI to 231 hp (170 kW). The performance level of the CB25S is even increased to 239 hp (165 kW) (The CB20 and CB25 C-Tronic are available for 1,416 €, and the C-Tronic CB20S and CB25S may be purchased for 2.011 €). The center of gravity may be lowered up to 30 mm, thus increasing the driving dynamics even further, without adversely effecting the driving comfort. Furthermore, the lowering kit (368 €) in conjunction with wheels that measure up to 20 inches, bring the vehicle&#8217;s image to a full circle. Complete wheel sets start at a size 18 inches and are available from only 2.300 €.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s every family man&#8217;s dream: The KICHERER C63 T Supersport. Sports car power, sound and looks, combined with the practical benefits of a classic station wagon. What else could any man wish for?!</p>
<p>Even the basic Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is truly powerful. With its 457 HP and maximum torque of nearly 600 Nm, it is anything but underpowered. But of course we made it a little faster and better still. Even the AMG standard production is far from true perfection. Therefore, Mercedes-Benz refiner KICHERER now presents a new family member in the Supersport series: the C63 T.</p>
<p>550 PS &#038; 640 Nm!</p>
<p>A few additional horses were added to its performance, taking the total HP to more than 550. The drive shafts also have to deal with a huge torque of 640 Nm. Together, they achieve a sprint to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds and a maximum speed of powered-down 320 km/h. These values are more than impressive! A sports air filter, as well as a stainless steel sports exhaust system with flap control including stainless steel manifold also contribute to the added power. An RS-line in-house thread sports chassis was installed for best driving behaviour. It offers not only the mandatory lowering but also clearly moves up the sports station wagon&#8217;s threshold range. Four fine KICHERER RS-1 forged wheel rims in a 20 inch format maintain asphalt contact. The exclusive 3-part wheels hide a high-performance composite brake system that warrants decelerations at super sports car level.</p>
<p>Carbon rules!</p>
<p>The KICHERER C63 T Supersport also offers visual attractions galore. The Stockach tuners installed an aerodynamics package that comprises a front spoiler with carbon flaps, a side sill set with carbon enlargement, a carbon tail diffusor, carbon front grille and the highly popular carbon mirror shells. Together with the already quite widened body, they provide for a fine overall appearance that can hardly be outdone in matters of sportiveness. Even more: The engine bay received a specially developed motor cover with carbon inlays.</p>
<p>On request, the customer may also order an exclusive Nappa leather outfit for the interior for his C63 T Supersport. It includes the entire seat system with contrasting decorative seams and a set of piano varnish seat shells. The dashboard, door covers and the entire roof were covered in alcantara as well.

<p>London – October 2011 &#8211; Having recently developed a sportier and aggressive version of the Mercedes ML 350, principal British Designer Afzal Kahn has now decided to turn his hand to the new blue efficiency AMG SLK 200 sport, in gleaming black with a matt black bonnet stripe &#8211; adding power, performance and a unique sense of motor supremacy exemplifying Afzal Kahn’s well-regarded aphorism: ‘the road is my catwalk’!</p>
<p>This Supreme vehicle also benefits from the Mercedes Benz approved Brabus engine with a powerful supercharged four-cylinder SLK 200 engine and a styling package which increases power output of the engine by about 30 hp / 22kW. Furthermore, Brabus have connected a plug-and-play auxiliary control module to the computer adding a further 26 hp.</p>
<p>This particular styling package consists of a full AMG sport pack &#8211; including front and rear bumpers, side skirts, Kahn exhaust, lowered suspension, matt black and carbon finished grille, carbon front splitters, red calipers, matt black side vents, remote control roof, roll bars in brushed aluminum and 7g Tronic 7 speed automatic transmission – exudes an exclusive appearance with powerful sound.<br />
The SLK 200’s flat, elongated silhouette is immediately recognisable with the innovative matt black 20” RS600 Kahn alloy wheels, demonstrating an enhanced level of interaction and style.</p>
<p>Inside this particular model is black and red quilted leather interior. However, we provide our customers with the opportunity to express one’s individuality. And they can have whatever they want. We could, for example, design for you a vehicle with an exterior the colour of your shirt and an interior the same shade of your living room, the choice is yours.</p>
<p>Project Kahn vehicles are for the individual who will not submit to a life of uniformity and who will only accept perfection. Dedicated to the creation of luxury bespoke vehicles, we redesign the ordered monotony of mass produced vehicles and rebuild them into individually tailored creations.</p>
