Mansory SLR Renovatio is one of the most incredible modified cars in the world. The car has a 5.5L V8 engine that can develop 700 HP and 880 Nm and it could reach a top speed of 340 km/h.The car has a very nice paint scheme and goes great with the added carbon fiber parts. Mansory tweaked the cars performance a little and obviosuly tweaked the exterior a lot. I love it, to me it has like this Lamborghini Reventon meets Bugatti Veyron look. also a little of a Dodge Viper.

SLR production to end in 2009

With the economic situation, you would think things can’t get worse. Mercedes planned on building around 500 units per year but managed to sell 261 units in 2006 and 275 in 2007), the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren is a very spectacular super car. And now, after quietly ending the SLR coupe production at the end of last year, it seems that the SLR production will end for good in 2009. And this will also mark the end of the cooperation between Mercedes and McLaren. Even though Mercedes Owns a good amount of the British company. McLaren preparing it’s own supercar, codenamed the P11, which is most likely to be introduced in 2011. Mercedes is also making its own supercar. This is very sad news, because this is an awesome car and hope that Mercedes and Mclaren work together in the future.[Source Auto Unleashed]

Bugatti Veyron OR Mclaren F1? Which?

Suppose for a moment that you were filthy rich, or someone said you can get either a Bugatti or a Mclaren which would you take? The BMW V12 that in standard tune is good for 627 hp or a W 16 cylinder 1,001 hp Bugatti. The Mclaren is lighter and is designed by formula 1 team, and the Bugatti which is heavier does handle very well also, considering it should for the selling price of $1.4million. Now which would you take, the Mclaren which can fit 3 people because the driver sits in the middle or the Bugatti which fits 2. I personally would take the Bugatti just because it is new and so fast, but as far as looks i find the Mclaren to look a lot better than Bugatti, if the Mclaren could do same speed as the Bugatti then i’d take the Mclaren. So which would you take? Here are some videos of the cars if you need some help.[Source Jalopnik]

Mclaren is one of the most successful teams in formula racing, but unlike their rival Ferrari, Mclaren doesn’t make many road cars. It’s current model the SLR Mclaren is considered a disappointment when compared to the Mclaren F1 which remains one of the quickers and best all around performance super car of all time. So when Mclaren announced the P11 was being developed on they started getting calls already for the car. While F1 was in market with Enzo, the SLR was in same market as carrera gt, the new P11 will go down a notch and compete with cars like the 911gt 2, rumors say the car specs to be 500 hp from an amg 6.3 v8, and Mclaren will produce less than 5k models and will arrive around 2010. Of all the Mclarens which would you have?[Source: Auto Blog]
