Superior performance through NOVITEC TRIDENTE Compressor Technology: With a rated power output of 590 hp / 434 kW and a peak torque of 572 Nm NOVITEC TRIDENTE establishes the two Maserati models Quattroporte S and Sport GT S among the most powerful luxury sedans in the world. Additionally the tuner enhances the car’s appearance and driving dynamics with three-piece 21-inch wheels, a height-adjustable coil-over suspension and a carbon-fiber rear spoiler. Exclusive interior upgrades are yet another NOVITEC TRIDENTE specialty.

Superlative driving thanks to superior engine power combined with exceptional engine smoothness: That is the philosophy behind the new NOVITEC TRIDENTE SPORT compressor engine for the Maserati luxury sedans Quattroporte S and Quattroporte Sport GT S.

The specialists of the German company adapted a cogged-belt-driven mechanical charger to the 4.7-liter eight-cylinder four-valve engine. Maximum boost pressure is limited to 0.35 bar. A water-to-air intercooler with dedicated water circulation ensures healthy operating temperatures for the engine. The NOVITEC TRIDENTE SPORT compressor conversion is rounded out by a custom intake manifold and larger injectors. Newly calibrated engine electronics ensure optimal power yield, longevity and compliance with strict Euro IV emission limits.

After the engine conversion, which starts at 19,900 Euros, the Italian luxury sedan delivers high-end performance figures: Rated power output of the Quattroporte S jumps from standard 430 hp / 318 kW to 590 hp / 434 kW at 7,300 rpm. Simultaneously peak torque grows from 490 Nm to 572 Nm.

In combination with the six-speed automatic transmission the NOVITEC TRIDENTE luxury sedan delivers excellent driving performance as well: A sprint time of just 4.6 seconds from rest to 100 km/h and 14.9 seconds to 200 km/h are truly exceptional in this class. Just as impressive is the car�s new top speed of 295 km/h.

To transfer this tremendous performance potential to the road as safely as possible NOVITEC TRIDENTE have developed a custom-tailored tire/wheel combination for the Quattroporte. The three-piece alloy wheels with five double spokes perfectly fill out the available space in the wheel wells. The size 9Jx21 wheels on the front axle are mounted with Pirelli P Zero high-performance tires in size 255/30 ZR 21. In the rear size 295/30 ZR 21 tires on size 11Jx21 wheels provide optimal traction.

The new wheels play a large part in the sporty yet elegant appearance of the upgraded luxury sedan. For added sporty emphasis NOVITEC TRIDENTE offers an understated rear spoiler made from clear-coated carbon fiber.

The NOVITEC TRIDENTE sport suspension is specifically calibrated to the 21-inch high-performance tires. It allows owners of the Quattroporte to dial-in a setup that suits their individual preferences. The suspension is continuously height-adjustable and features multiple settings for compression and rebound.

NOVITEC TRIDENTE also offers numerous options for a stylish customization of the interior of the luxury sedan. The options range from a custom-tailored interior crafted from the finest leather or Alcantara to a state-of-the-art multimedia equipment package with TV, Blu-Ray player and high-speed internet connection on wheels.

AutoExpress, a British magazine is reporting that the Maybach is due to be cancelled. Maybach will launch very mildly face lifted of its three model line up. It will be small changes such as a new grille and LED lighting before the brand slips away. Maybach executives have now privately admitted plans to wind down the brand – resurrected in 2002 – due to disappointing sales. The reason for killing the Maybach brand is because of poor sales prior to the economic meltdown and Mercedes plans to take the all new S class to a whole new level when it’s unveiled in 2014. The new S-Class is set to be the most hi-tech Mercedes to date. I personally don’t know why people buy Maybach when it looks like a fixed up S-Class, when you can get a very nice Rolls-Royce Phantom.

The Exelero was the opposite of the revived Maybach line: creative, daunting, and outlandish.  The brand was a forgotten prewar luxury marque on par with the Duesenberg and the Rolls. Beautiful as though its coachbuilt pieces were, Maybach never captured the global imagination.  Postwar, the nameplate vanished till Daimler-Chrysler brought it back in the 2000s.  The Exelero was an ’05 showpiece meant to draw and impress Euro crowds. It did its job, with a gothic pizazz and a menacing 700 hp twin-turbo V-12. Promoters flaunted the car’s tremendous weight (nearly 6,000 lbs.) and even more massive price tag–$1,000,000.  The Exelero was just too out there for the conservative Daimler folks, though. They stuck with stale and overdone S-classes as their Maybachs, rather than something that would stand out. The Exelero was never realistic, or sensible. But it wasn’t supposed to be. In that, it was faithful to the Maybachs of old.

Looks like the VW Phaeton won’t be the only stupid move the Germans make in luxury.  The premium-class Maybach marque has failed to make the desired splash on the global luxury scene.  The Maybach marque originated in Germany after World War I, but was retired at the start of World War II.  Daimler-Chrysler opted to bring back the nameplate to tackle VW’s Bentley and BMW’s Rolls divisions.  Well that hasn’t worked out so well; inspite of new alterations and an upcoming grand “Zeppelin” trim download house of wax download spy game divx , Maybach has become more stale than bread at a dollar store.  Unless Maybach can make a big push into Asian markets, the brand will be dropped early in the new decade.

Is the Bugatti Veyron for $1.4 million to cheap, well we have a solution. A dealer in Austria is selling one of two only made Maybach concepts. The 2005 Maybach Exelero Concept has a V12 bi-turbo from Maybach 57 S 690-hp with a peak torque of 737 ft-lb. 0-62mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 218mph.

Maybach’s newest model has been revealed at the Dubai Motor Show. The car a semi-convertible of the 62 S is being called a concept but 20 limited models are going to be out next year. The new model is based on the current Maybach 62 but has a sliding roof over the rear seats, which opens and closes in 16 seconds. The car has an amazing house like interior with granite all over it. Now the fun stuff well at least for your chauffeur, the car is powered by an upgraded version of the v12 engine from the maybach 62 S. The twin-turbo v12 produces a maximum of 612hp! This is my favorite Maybach and just looks really rich looking considering it should for the price it will be which is rumored for around $400k.
