Video: Audi R8 “Masterpiece” Commercial
If you’re sane you already want an Audi R8. This new video by Audi shows the R8 in a more peaceful and relaxing way. I really like the shot at 0:25. Very nice cinematography.

Video: Jay Leno Drives The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport
The car has a top speed of 253mph and a 0-60 time of 2.48 and it costs about $2.25 million. This is an amazing car. Look at how fast it goes. I like this a lot better with the top down.

Video: 2011 BMW 335is on the track
Here is the first video of the BMW 335is which is powered by the same twin-turbo cylinder engine but with 20 more hp for a total output of 320hp. BMW claims a 0-60 speed of 5.0 flat and some websites have reported 0-60 times of 4.8-4.9. I personally thing for $50k this car is a ripoff. For that price you can get something nicer and faster, in the end it’s a 3 series. Personally at that point just pay $10k more and get the M3. Would you buy this?

Ford’s Next Pony to Run on New Legs
Ford will finally be pushing the Mustang fully into the modern world. The next incarnation of the popular sport coupe is reportedly scheduled for the 2014 production year. New details are emerging, indicating that Ford will install a fully independent suspension on the next model: a first for the Mustang. Along with that are a rumored turbocharged inline-four motor, a new 6-spd. manual-shift, and the use of a global platform.
Audi A3 Hits a Wall
So much for those high hopes.
The A3, Audi’s entry-level vehicle for North America, has run into a brick wall–figuratively speaking. Audi had hoped to invest more resources in the upscale hatch, beginning with worldwide distribution of its 2.0 L diesel four, then bringing new bodystyles and trim levels for US buyers. Sadly, that’s been put on hold due to a global downturn in sales.
Edmunds is reporting that production at the main factory in Ingolstadt will be temporarily halted due to the drop in demand. Germany’s cash-for-clunkers program ran its course and is being blamed for the sudden drop-off in sales. As Leftlane was quick to put out, the A3 is a pretty old vehicle by today’s standards. With fresh compact competition coming from Japan to Audi’s native Germany, a new A3 is overdue.
We’d still welcome an RS3 on these shores. We don’t know how much that’d do for Audi’s bottom line, but it’d make us happy.

Is the Buick Regal Really the Mercury Milan?
Apparently the Chinese influence in the Regal’s design was greater than we realized. It’s unfortunate that of all the brands Buick chose to mimic, it’d be the one that’s in worse shape.
And, like the Milan, the Regal is extremely dull.
