Ford Will Not Be Releasing Ka and “Global” Ranger in US

Ford Motor CEO Alan Mullaly has decided not to import the overseas Ka and Ranger vehicles to the United States.  The Ka is a Euro-market micro-car in the mold of the Smart, while the foreign Ranger is a separate and newer compact pickup from the existing US model.  Ford brass will concentrate on marketing the popular Fiesta and offering a medium-sized “F-100″ light-duty pickup for North American truck buyers.
