Audi hasn’t rested on the R8′s hot numbers. Soon after releasing the 5.2 FSi V-10 coupe, Audi’s shown off the spyder. Peak output is 525 hp, with sixty hit in just four seconds. A light frame keeps weight to just under 3,800 lbs. It’s not light, but it’s not quite as obese as your run-of-the-mill V-10 cabrio. Drivers can select from a standard 6-spd. manual-shift or R-tronic with launch control.
