Video: BMW M5 Vs. Cadillac CTS-V
Our friends over at BMWblog found a very awesome comparison. This is of course a very popular comparison and so many videos of it already online. I like this review because it doesn’t include the usual E63 AMG and focuses on two cars. The BMW M5 is powered by a 5.0 liter V10 engine producing 500 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque with a 0-60 time of 4.5
The CTS-V has a more powerful 6.2 liter V8 with 551 horsepower and 551 lb-ft of torque with a 0-60 time around 4.2 seconds( some reviews have gotten 3.9). The main difference is PRICE. The Luxury M5 starts at around $90k while the Cadillac starts at around $60k. The M5 is an amazing car but for that price so many cars these days are killing it in speed, so…is the extra money worth it? Please leave your thoughts.

i traded a c6 zo6 for one……..fast and class
with a tune it will run 11.7 similar to the Zo6 average
i have a GTO……. so meets my luxo super sport and i have a pony car as well
the caddy is very classy..anyone saying the interior is cheap is crazy…..it a balnced machine …..sort like a zo6 and gto mated….
and my GTO has every bolt on producing 535 whp and all brake /driveline and axle mods…..the caddy is better and i didn’t have to drop 25 k in mods
