Audi RS6 With 700hp By Avus Performance
- Click on the image above for full-image gallery
This RS6 is getting a lot of attention not because of how awesome it looks but because of the name. The car was named “White Power”. “White Power” wasn’t the best name from the German Tuner. Controversy aside, the car looks nice. The RS6 comes with 580hp straight from the factory, Avus thought they could improve that so they installed a Sportec 2.7″ in diameter high performance exhaust system, racing catalysts, and re-programmed the ECU. Which increased the horsepower to 700, and torque to 800Nm, with an eye popping 3.9 second 0-100 km/h from a V10 Bi-turbo.

Video: 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport walkaround
Corvetteblogger has a video of the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. The video isn’t that exciting with loud engine sounds but it gives us some real live footage. Power comes from a LS3 6.2L V8 producing 430-hp and a peak torque of 424 lb-ft when mated to a standard exhaust system. Output is increased to 436-hp when mated to the optional two-mode exhaust system. Pricing will be announced very soon.

Please Welcome Our Newest Sponsor: Corvette Guys
May means the first taste of warmer weather and tire-smoking get-togethers. And what better month than May, then, to announce the return of one of Chevy’s high performance superstars?
During the National Corvette Museum’s C5 & C6’s Bash, the 2010 Grand Sport was unveiled. Drawing from its racecar pedigree, the new Grand Sport replaces the Z51 package option and is designed to bring performance closer to the Z06. It features the LS3 6.2L engine rated at 436 horsepower and 428 pound feet of torque when fitted with an optional upgraded exhaust. (With this two-mode exhaust, we wonder if the Grand Sport’s sound will rival the one that emanates from the Z06 exhaust.) And for handling and braking performance, they’ve even outfitted the Grand Sport with larger Z06 Corvette brake rotors and calipers.
In 1996, the last time a Grand Sport edition was offered, it was a limited edition of 1,000 vehicles. This time, the Grand Sport is designed to replace the Z51 suspension package and provide Corvette buyers with a “middle ground” between the softer, more luxurious ride of a base Corvette and the stiffer, all-business mien of the Z06. To this end, the Grand Sport will be available in both coupe and convertible body styles - notable because a convertible isn’t an option in the sport-oriented Z06. Read more
Video: Ferrari F450 Mule Spy Video
Here is a new video of the Ferrari F450 Mule spied by World Car Fans. The video is only 2min long but very entertaining. The video shows the way a Ferrari is meant to be driven. The car sounds amazing and I can’t wait for the final outcome. The car should get a 500hp 4.5 liter V8, mated to the California’s double-clutch gearbox. It is rumored that the car will top the 520hp on the F430 Scuderia. The Ferrari F450 is expected to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

Video: 2010 Audi S4 Roadtest
Here is a very interesting review of the 2010 Audi S4. In the video the facts are stated, the previous M3 had 333hp, the previous Audi S4 had 345. Audi kept it close to the M3, now that the M3 has a 400+hp V, the new Audi S4 has 330 hp. The car is now pretty much aimed at the BMW 335i with a twin-turbo producing 300hp. Overall the driver says he loves the car and the response is great if not better than the previous V8, the only downside is the engine noise. The car isn’t that loud and doesn’t make you feel like you’re driving fast or have a lot of power. He closes the video saying that the answer to the BMW M3 is going to be the next generation Audi RS4,what do you think?

Video: BMW M5 Vs. Cadillac CTS-V
Our friends over at BMWblog found a very awesome comparison. This is of course a very popular comparison and so many videos of it already online. I like this review because it doesn’t include the usual E63 AMG and focuses on two cars. The BMW M5 is powered by a 5.0 liter V10 engine producing 500 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque with a 0-60 time of 4.5
The CTS-V has a more powerful 6.2 liter V8 with 551 horsepower and 551 lb-ft of torque with a 0-60 time around 4.2 seconds( some reviews have gotten 3.9). The main difference is PRICE. The Luxury M5 starts at around $90k while the Cadillac starts at around $60k. The M5 is an amazing car but for that price so many cars these days are killing it in speed, so…is the extra money worth it? Please leave your thoughts.

Video: 2010 Mercedes E-Class Coupe in Detail
Mercedes Benz has just released a video of the 2010 Mercedes E-class coupe and it looks amazing. Initially, Mercedes-Benz will offer the U.S. market the 292-hp V6 E 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY Coupe and the 388-hp E 500 Coupe - other models may follow. The V8 sound awesome. Unfortunately, Mercedes will not make an AMG version saying it’s too similar to the CLS AMG.
