Video: New Camaro SS vs Challenger R/T vs 2010 Mustang GT Exhaust Comparison

All of these muscle cars look well…Muscular. What really defines a muscle car besides the look is the sound of the V8 engine. Edmund’s Insideline created a short video with the audio tracks of the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS, 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T and 2010 Ford Mustang GT. I personally find the Mustang to have the least muscular sound. I like the loud Chainsaw sound the Challenger and Camaro make. Which car sounds the best to you?

    Why would you chose the Challenger R/T for the comparison when obviously the SRT8 Challenger is the direct comparable for the Camaro? This must be sponsored by GM. I’m a GM guy, were not afraid to take on the real players.

  2. Kevin says:

    The Challenger R/T is not right for this comparison test. Why didn’t you guys use a SRT-8 for this comparison. You might as well use the base model V6 Camaro in this test since you guys decided to give the Camaro the unfair advantage.

    @Kevin
    I agree 100%. It wasn’t us who filmed this, it was edmunds insideline.

    The Challenger is an American beauty & the only car that has truly capture the muscle car style, and its the only one that truly looks like a the old mode. Overall a winner, The American muscle. SRT is just to much more Camero, and the Mustand. That’s just the reality.

    The SRT is just too much for the Camero, and the Mustand, that’s just reality.
