The Camaro Z28 is back! Or is it?
Could this be the case of a legend, once thought dead and gone forever, coming back to life? We know that the V6 Camaro will be packing 300 pasture pacing horses; the SS model will carry 400 for the automatic and 422 of all the king’s horses ready to unload a can of whoop a** on any close contender. This includes SRT8 Challengers(manual available), Chargers or 300s. I believe the Camaro SS will handle them all, effortlessly. But what’s missing out of this equation is the Z28 version of our Camaro. Long thought to be dead and gone, we now find out that it’s waiting in the wings, ready to appear with fury when the public is ready to accept it. With all of these new CAFE restrictions and standards for fuel efficiency, the 6.2 liter V8 is taboo to even speak of now. But maybe you should take a further peek. The 6.2 liter V8 makes 556hp in the Z28. Yes! The same supercharged behemoth of a monster under the hood of the CTS-V will make it’s way to the Z28 and should propel the manual available(automatic lovers need not apply here…but it is available if u choose to….though I don’t know why you would) in just 3.9 seconds. So if you are looking for Corvette Z06 power and love the look of the Camaro, here it is…hopefully it makes it’s way out. But the question is, would you buy this if/when it comes out?

Indeed, like was said, why even bother if you’re an automatic lover (automaton). Where is the love, where is the feel, where is the emotion, where is the car?
