The 2009 7 series was a big hype a while ago kind of like the Brett Favre situation. The hype has died and BMW officially launched the car and took some new photos for the press. I must point out I love the car but don’t really like the Lexus style exhausts on this car. I still would prefer a Mercedes-Benz S Class. What do you think of the new design?-Thanks to our good friends at BMW Blog

2009 Ford Mustang Revealed With Lots of Pictures and Specs

Ford has released images and details on the 2009 Mustang that’s pretty much a carry over the 2008 model, which is quite logical as the American carmaker gears up for the new 2010 Mustang that will be unveiled at the LA Auto Show in November. I think the biggest difference for 2009 is the availability of the factory-installed glass roof option on both the V-6 and GT models for $1,995. Ford is celebrating the Mustang’s 45th Anniversary this year, all V6 and GT versions will feature special fender badging. No new packages are offered except for a security package. -Pictures And Press Release Continued Below.

[Video]AUDI R8 VS PORSCHE 997 TURBO VS ASTON MARTIN V8 VANTAGE

This is a really cool comparison test. They take these super cars and give some tests and find out which is the best car overall. I like all three but I would take the Audi R8 over all of them. Once the Audi R8 V10 comes out, then it’ll blow the other cars out of competition. I mean come on look at those headlights, this has to be the sexiest car. What would you take?

Watch this video from Maserati which shows the car in detail. You can’t be a car enthusiast if you don’t like this attractive car. I don’t really like the interior color they choose but it’s still pretty nice. Enjoy! What do you think of the car?

We would like to take CARversation to a whole new level. We want to expand in all kind of ways and a good step in that direction is to have multi-authors. We’re looking for car enthusiasts who love to talk about cars. We preferably would like someone who would like to cover the Japanese/American Car industry. What are your benefits you ask? Well we are growing at a fast rate and are averaging about 80k -100k views a month which could greatly help you promote your website. We don’t have any other way to compensate you since we have no budget. One of the best ways to grow is to get exposure, when I first started out I was getting about 50 hits a day, Then I started posting on other blogs and I networked and got more exposure and here I am now to about 2-3k hits a day.

Anyone wishing to become a regular contributor should submit a note and explain what they’d like to write about. Experience isn’t necessary, but passion helps. Email at carversation[at]gmail.com

5 things to never do to your car!!

Everyone knows not to sit on a hood of a car or simple things of that nature but somethings aren’t too obvious.

These include:

Sunny day car wash: Dousing your car with water in bright sunlight can be ruinously bad for its finish. First, the sun heats up the metal to the point it’s scalding hot to the touch. Then, you add some nice tepid tap water — which is immediately boiled off the finish, along with caustic soap and whatever grime you didn’t clear off — while any remaining rivulets of moisture act like a magnifying glass, amping-up the power of the sun’s murderous rays. The end result is not pretty — and cosmetics aside, you’ve cut into the resale/trade-in value of your vehicle by flailing its finish.

New cars with base/clear-coat paints are especially vulnerable to sun damage, because once the very thin clear topcoat is burned away or otherwise damaged, the paint will never shine again, no matter how hard you wax and polish. Only an expensive repaint will fix things. It’s far better to wash on cloudy, overcast days — or at least in the shade, away from direct sunlight. A great time to wash a car is just after dawn — and in the late afternoon, just as the sun is slipping past the horizon.

Pressure washing a modern car’s engine: A grimy engine that runs properly is Read more
