Nissan GT-R Spec-V will produce 520-hp and will cost $130,000

It’s funny how the Japanese are known for cars with good gas mileage and now they are having a super car war. Acura will be producing the new Acura NSX. While most companies are satasfied with having a decent car,Nissan is not. The Nissan GT-R is a powerful car that is known as the Godzilla, well now Nissan knows companies will struggle and attempt to copy that car but Nissan is going to be releasing the faster version of the Nissan GT-R,the “V-Spec”.
According to Road&Track, the Nissan GT-R V Spec will be powered by a 3.8L twin-turbo V6 that has been upgraded to produce 520-hp with a peak torque of 440 lb-ft. The Spec-V will also weigh in less by 200 lb for a total of 3,615 lb.
Official Nurburgring lap-times are still to come but rumors say prototypes easily achieved the 7:30 range. The Nissan GT-R Spec-V is expected to make its U.S. debut in early 2009 with pricing starting at $130,000.
