The new 2009 Cadillac CTS-V will have 556 horsepower, hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and run the quarter mile in 12 seconds flat. Edmunds’ Straightline Blog reports that the sport sedan’s 6.2L supercharged V8 will produce 556 hp at 6,100 rpm and 551 pound-feet of torque at 3,800 rpm. Cadillac has one target for this car and that is the BMW M5 producing 500hp from a V10 which isn’t enough to compete with the Cadillac CTS-V. I really like the interior and seems like a big improvement has been made. One question remainds, how much will it cost? no price is announced yet but when it is, we’ll post it right away. Do you like this car?
